The Abbey

Valentine's Day 2007 saw the airing of a pilot show for a programme called The Abbey. This was a comedy based in a rehab clinic. It was written by Morwenna Banks who also played the lead role. Although he was only in it briefly, Marti played her ex-husband - Eddie Coogan. Russell Brand, Liz Smith, Omid Djalili, Reece Shearsmith, Miranda Hart and Tamsin Egerton also starred. There were plans for this to be made into a series but one of the other actors pulled out.
