From 30th January - 11th February Marti will not be appearing in the West End but instead will be appearing in the UK tour of Blood Brothers at the Sunderland Empire.
On Tuesday, 1st November, Marti made his much anticipated return to the West End stage in the hit musical Blood Brothers.

On Saturday, 6th August, we had a "Farewell Jekyll & Hyde Party" on Marti's Official Forum and he very kindly sent us a video message!

You can watch Marti's appearance on The Saturday Night Show (19th Feb). Unfortunately, the interviewer was focussing on the wrong things so Marti hardly got chance to talk about Jekyll & Hyde or Love To Love. The interview starts at about 35 minutes. At the end of the show Marti came back to sing This Is The Moment (from Jekyll & Hyde) ably accompanied by Tom De Keyser, the Jekyll & Hyde musical director. This was a SUPERB performance and well worth watching!!!

On Sunday, 12th September, Marti performed at the Elvis Forever Gig at London's Hyde Park.
Marti was undoubtedly the star of the show, giving stunning performances of
"I Just Can't Help Believin" and "In The Ghetto"!!

Marti performed superbly on "Weekend Wogan" , singing "In The Ghetto" and a very moving rendition of "The Island" which he dedicated to his very good friend Chris Dagley who was tragically killed on 28/07.

Sacred Flame and official website update!
Many of you will have received "event reminders" from Ticketmaster regarding Sacred Flame on 28th December. The show HAS been postponed until sometime next year. These reminders were set up automatically when tickets were purchased and they should be ignored. The show's producer is working hard to arrange a date that is suitable for everyone involved, that can be accommodated at the O2. I know that everyone is waiting for the new date and I'm sure that we will be told as soon as it has been settled.
Marti's official website should be launched soon! I have been told that it is looking great and I'm sure that it will be worth the wait!
"Winter Across Her Brow" - the beautiful new song on Marti Pellow Official is taken from the acoustic album "King Of Yesterday". Release details are as yet unknown.

On 13th September, 2009, Marti will be performing as part of the Thank You For The Music - a celebration of Abba music at Hyde Park, London.
The show will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2 from 6.30pm.
"Chess In Concert" featuring Marti as the Arbiter, was shown in cinemas around the UK at the beginning of September to coincide with its release on DVD and CD.

On Saturday, 5th September, Marti will perform his Sentimental Me set with The RTE Concert Orchestra at the National Concert Hall, Dublin.
20/06/09 Marti appeared on "Saturday Night With Miriam" on RTE 1 in Ireland.
This show can be seen on the internet by clicking here! Marti can be seen 15 minutes into the show when he performed "I've Got You Under My Skin" brilliantly!! Very nice to see Jim Watson on piano!
