Marti with the RTE Concert Orchestra, Dublin 05/09/09

 

Billed as "An Intimate Evening With Marti Pellow & the RTÉ Concert Orchestra", this show was sold out! As well as the RTE Concert Orchestra, Marti's jazz band were also on stage, leaving very little room! It was an amazing show which comprised of many of the Sentimental Me songs plus a few "new" ones -

  Marti was in fine form, keeping the audience entertained in between songs with his anecdotes and singing better than ever! "Redemption Song" was performed by Marti alone without any backing. He gave a stunning performance during which you could have heard a pin drop and it gained him a well earned standing ovation!! A thoroughly fantastic time was had by everyone!!
